I have been unsuccessful in repeating yesterday’s success of posting a Youtube link. Cross your fingers.
Being an immagrant to digital culture, I wonder sometimes what it all means to us all. Are books really on the way to museums and archives as more and more reading and other information gathering is finding its way onto computers? I may be showing my age here, but I doubt that books will go out of style completely. Newpapers either. I think that quite a few peole like to be unplugged from time to time. But regardless of the fate of the printed page, I find myself very happy about digital information. Let’s take the way I type and write as an excellent example. If you could only see me write this in real time, you would know that the most-used key on the key on the keyboard. The little finger on my right hand bulges and ripples with the daily workout I give it. Fortunately for people like me, linear writing and linear reading are no longer neccesary components of composition or reading.
